Dr. L. Shon Bunkley joined Wallick Communities in 2014 as Executive Director of its nonprofit, Resident Resources Network, Inc. Shon has over 20 years of experience in developing, evaluating, and managing programs in educational and nonprofit settings, as well as a passion for serving the education, employment, and service needs of diverse populations of people.

Dr. L. Shon Bunkley joined Wallick Communities in 2014 as Executive Director of its nonprofit, Resident Resources Network, Inc. Shon has over 20 years of experience in developing, evaluating, and managing programs in educational and nonprofit settings, as well as a passion for serving the education, employment, and service needs of diverse populations of people. Prior to joining Resident Resources Network, Shon was the co-principal of a consulting firm, Quality Performance, LLC, which specialized in evaluation, research, grant writing, and capacity-building for nonprofits and other organizations.
Shon has extensive nonprofit board experience, including Chair of the Ward YMCA Advisory Board, President of the Ohio Program Evaluators’ Group, member of the Berwyn East Academy School Board, and member of the Nothing Into Something Real Estate (NISRE), Inc. Board of Directors. She holds a Ph.D. in Urban Education from Cleveland State University, a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Youngstown State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Denison University.
