Derrick Pryor is Principal at AES Development, LLC and has nearly twenty (20) years of commercial, residential mortgage and finance experience. In his capacity as a Program Coordinator with the City of Columbus, Mr. Pryor managed all of the City of Columbus’ financing for homeownership including Bond, HOME, CDBG, Neighborhood Stabilization I, II, and III funding sources. He is experienced in public and private financing arenas as well as commercial and residential real estate having been on the wholesale and retail side of the mortgage industry.
Mr. Pryor began his entrepreneurial career at the age of 24 as the owner of two convenience stores and a check-cashing establishment in Columbus, and Dayton Ohio. Mr. Pryor holds Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a Writing Concentration and a minor in Economics from Denison University, and a National Development Council Housing Development Professional Certification. Mr. Pryor has also completed the Economic Development Professional course
from the National Development Council. A believer in servant leadership, Mr. Pryor is an active member of New Horizons Christian Fellowship, a member of the Board of Directors of Mansion Day School, a member of the Board of Directors of Resident Resource Network, and is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated.
